G859 = aphesis = From G863; freedom; (figuratively) pardon: - deliverance, forgiveness, liberty, remission.
Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

It is interesting that forgiveness is paired with repentance for Israel.

Paul was instructed to tell the gentiles about Jesus that would open their eyes to truth, free them from Satan, allow them to receive the forgiveness of sin, and obtain an inheritance.

Forgiveness is related to forebearance in that it is a foregoing of that to which one is entitled (or feels entitled). In this we have Christ as an example. Who set aside his glory for our sakes.
Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
“Robbery” is the word for plunder, conveying the idea of that held as dearly as a robber holds on to what he has stolen.
The Christian life should entertain the possibility of accepting a loss.
1Co 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
